What is Deepavali – Diwali Explained

Deepavali, also known as Diwali, Divali or Deepawali is the festival of light gloriously celebrated by all Hindus of the world and where Diyas (lamps) are lighted in a decorative style around houses. Deepavali usually occurs between mid October to mid November but the actual dates depend on the Hindu lunar calendar.
